April Favourites

Hi guys! How are you! I'm really excited because today I'm going on a holiday! Well, it's actually not a normal holiday, because I'm going to a big theatre event with loads of people, you can easily see 6 plays everyday! The people there are really cool and the hotel we're staying in is too, and we're gonna be playing our play on Sunday so it's really exciting!

But before going I wanted to post this April Favourites! I've been loving a lot of things, so it's been hard to narrow it down, but without any further ado, here are my favourites!

1- Maybelline SuperStay 7 Days Gel Nail Color varnishes
I talked about the 230 Berry Stain shade on this post and you know I loved it, so I bought another shade more suited for Spring! It's the shade 130 Rose Poudré, and it's a really pretty nude pink. I think it's very elegant and it's perfect if you tend to go for warmer, more natural colours. It faded a little bit faster than the Berry Stain one, but it still lasts a lot and is really easy and quick to apply. The formula is awesome and there are more beautiful colours on this range, so I'm sure you all can find your style!

2- Essence's Nail Polish Corrector Pen
There's a lot of nails on this post, I'm sorry ^^' But you know nails are my thing! I bought this corrector pen a couple of weeks ago and it's SO useful! It's a kind of marker with nail polish remover instead of ink, so you can use it to "erase" the varnish left outside of your nails if you're clumsy like me hahaha It makes my life so much easier, I'd definitely recommend you give it a try! I bought Essence's because it's the only one I could find, but there are more brands that make them!

3- Bonté's Express Nail Polish Remover
GUYS THIS IS MY LIFE SAVER. It's the best thing I've purchased in a while. It has a sponge inside with a hole in the middle so you just put your finger inside, rub it a little bit on the sponge, take it out and voilà! No nail polish! It works so fast and so well and it saves me a lot of time and effort when I want to change the colour on my nails. I'll let you know how much it lasts, but for now it doesn't seem to dry out or stop working. I think it was like €1.50, so definitely worth the money. Again, I've found more brands with this kind of product, but I bought Bonté's because it was the cheapest and for a trial I didn't want to pay a lot if maybe I wasn't going to like it. I'm definitely repurchasing it!

4- Essence's Kajal Pencil in 21 Feel the Eclipse
This is actually my favourite Essence Eye Pencil, but I absolutely forgot about it for my "Top Essence Products" post! I used it a couple of days later and I wanted to smash my head for forgetting it, so I thought I'd put it on my favourites :) It's not completely black, it's a beautiful deep dark blue and I'm absolutely in love with it! It looks black if you don't look closely, but then you can see it's a touch away from being black. It lasts a fair amount of time for its price. It won't last you a whole day, but maybe a morning or an afternoon.

5- Pantene's Aqua Light Shampoo
I usually use the "Repair and Protect" range from Pantene and I really like it, but a friend recommended this one and I gave it a try! It's really good, it doesn't have as many components as shampoos usually do, so that's definitely a plus. It doesn't damage your hair and it leaves it feeling really smooth and clean. My hair tends to get a little bit oily quickly, and I've found this one to avoid it. Also, I think my hair is less frizzy since I started using it!

6- Danielle Bradbery's Potential
You know I love reality singing competitions and Danielle Bradbery, winner of The Voice US Season 4, is one of my favourite singers. We're being really patient because the process for her second album release has been really long, but some days ago she had a concert and dropped this new song which is SO GOOD. I wasn't in love with her last single, but if the songs that are coming are as good as this one... well, I'm sold! Please take a listen to it, I've had it on repeat for some days and I don't get tired! It's so good!

That's it! I hope you'l have an amazing weekend and I'll see you when I come back!

A big big hug,

Day In My Life: Sant Jordi!

Good morning guys! I'm really excited about today's post because it's my first "day in the life" and because I get to share my favourite day with you! You all know that the 23rd of April is the International Book Day, but what you might not know is that this is a pretty important day in Catalonia, where I live, because it's Saint George's Day and Saint George (Sant Jordi) is our patron saint.

There is a legend that is told to every little kid at school: Once upon a time, there was a city that was threatened by a dragon. People used to give animals to feed the dragon, but soon there were no more animals to feed it and they decided that they should give a young maiden every day instead. They picked up a name from the box and it turned out to be the Princess. The King said that she should be spared, but she said that it was her turn and she would go. The King was devastated. When the dragon was about to kill the Princess, a young warrior riding a horse appeared and defeated the dragon. The warrior was Saint George. Roses grew from the dragon's blood and he gave one to the Princess. Some stories say he then went on to marry the Princess and rule the kingdom, but many more say that he then left the city to save more people that needed his help.

This is the reason that there is a beautiful tradition for Sant Jordi: boys give girls a rose, and girls give boys a book. Nowadays, everybody gives books and roses to their loved ones, and honestly, I think it's such a beautiful tradition. I always go to Barcelona for this day because it's full of little stalls selling books and roses (and when I say full I mean it, there are thousands of them.) There are stages with people performing, writers signing books, and the spirit of the day is so festive and cheerful. I absolutely love it! I was really excited and I kept my phone out all the time to capture everything so I could show it to you guys. Allons-y!

I got on the train with a friend at 8:32 a.m. so we could be in Barcelona by 10, because being a Saturday we knew there would be too many people later. 9:45, we got to Barcelona and we got straight to La casa del llibre (The book's house), my favourite library, so we could buy before it became impossible due to the overcrowding. We met another friend there. I bought the first part of Endgame, which I'm REALLY excited to read, and Insurgent and Allegiant in Catalan so my sister could read them (she's always angry at me because I keep buying books in English and she wants to read them hahaha).

Afterwards, we stopped by the Casa Batlló, a building by Gaudí, a really important Catalan architect (he designed the Sagrada Família and Parc Güell, among other things). They covered it with (artificial, of course) roses for the occasion and it was beautiful!

We took a lot of pictures there and then went to the central square, Plaça Catalunya.

There, we stopped by the TV and radio stages, to see the shows being filmed and recorded there live. It's always fun to see TV people really close to you, even if you don't get to talk to them!

Then, we went to the Rambles, and we got to a stage where we saw a couple of nice bands last year, but unfortunately the bands were scheduled for later.

Barcelona was full of these, it says: When I read, I'm everything I want to be, and then in small: A princess in armour, a prince in love with roses and a vegetarian dragon. I absolutely loved it!

We walked in the Rambles for a bit, and then went to the Cathedral Square because there are always shows. We saw a lot of people dressed up (in a rose-selling stall there were a couple of guys dressed up as princesses and it was hilarious hahaha). Then, we went to see a friend of my friend's, who was working at a pharmacy shop (she actually gave us a couple of product samples, so watch out for nearby reviews ;) ).

We went back to Plaça Catalunya and stopped by the Disney Store on our way because we just couldn't help it hahaha

Then we visited FNAC, a place where they sell cultural and electronic products, to see if the had the other two parts of Endgame, but it was SO full of people we could barely walk, so we went out and I thought I would buy them on Amazon. We actually spent a lot of time to get out of there, it was late (12:30) and Barcelona was starting to be suffocatingly full, so we decided to take the train back home!

A cute bag I bought to carry the books! It's supposed to be Saint George kissed by the Princess after he saves her!

When I got home I went to the local library with my mum and sister to see what they purchased. My mum wasn't sure which book to pick up, so I told her she could choose one to buy and I gave her the other one as a gift. My sister picked up Omnia by Laura Gallego García, which I'm definitely reading when she finishes it!

In the afternoon I slept a bit because I was exhausted and I had an exciting evening ahead: my choir was singing a Sant Jordi concert, and I needed to be at my best! We had been working so hard and we were excited to show the result. Quite a lot of people came, and everybody liked it very much! Many people said they were so emotional they almost cried, so that's good hahaha In the end, they wouldn't stop clapping! I think it was one of our biggest successes and I'm really proud of me and the girls because I think we did really well and people saw it. It was amazing!

So this was my day! I figure you understand why I'm behind in commenting on your blogs hahaa I'm gonna get to it this afternoon! I hope you enjoyed this post, tell me if you've done anything exciting this weekend! Have a nice week!

A big big hug,

Offline Me

Hi there! I come a bit later than usual today, I'm sorry!

Some weeks ago, Ella (ellacrabb.blogspot.com) made a post about the differences about how she is on her blog and on her "real" life, and she invited everybody to write a post about it. I thought it to be so interesting! That's why I'm here today, to introduce you the offline Acqua.

When you meet me for the first time, you'll tend to think that I'm really extroverted, because I talk a lot, but what I am when I meet new people is terrified! With the years I've learned to enjoy it, but even though I'll talk a lot, you'll only get the surface. I'll tell you about the activities I'm involved with, my hobbies... but never anything too deep or personal.

People who know me a little bit tend to think I'm distant. That's because I never know how to act in front of them, I kinda find it easier with people I don't know at all. If I know you a little bit but it hasn't been a long time since we met, if I like you and trust you, I'll just let go random pieces of quite personal information as if it weren't important. That's my way of telling you I trust you haaha

People who know me a lot still won't know everything about me. I never tell everything to the same person. And I think that's gonna continue for many years to come.

The word I think describes me the best is "contradiction". As you've seen, I can be both really extroverted and really shy. I'm also pretty logical, but really imaginative. I'm down-to-earth but I'm on the clouds. I can change a lot depending on the situation, and here comes one of my most characteristical features: I like being in control of things.

That doesn't mean I have to boss around. No, it means that if the situation I'm in is out of my comfort zone and I can't control it, I'll get really anxious and overwhelmed. I think that's why I change so much. I adapt to the situation so I won't freak out.

The image people have of me is this girl who's literally EVERYWHERE. She's involved with everything, and she loves being busy all the time. People trust me because I'm everywhere, apparently.

The image other people have of me is that I'm intelligent. I don't want to show off, of course! But  I've always gotten great marks. I think I get things quickly, and I know how to get things done, so I've found what works for me when I'm studying. And to me, that's the key for a good mark. Knowing your strategies!

I couldn't leave my favourite things out of this. You all know them, but I'll list them anyway. Writing and reading make me who I am. I've been studying music since I was 5, and it's a huge part of my life. When I like something, I really really like it. And working with kids is connected to my whole being.

That's it, I think. Until Monday...

A big big hug!

QOTW #8 Dreams

Good Monday darlings! How are you today? I hope you're full of energy and ready for a new week!

Today's post is special and scary for me... and you'll see why! I think today's quote speaks for itself, and it's so true! Think about how many times you've given up on your dreams because you failed in achieving something. And now, think about how many times you've given up on your dreams because you were scared or you kept doubting. I bet the second option will bring more memories to your mind; at least, that's what happens to me.

And it's so ridiculous! I keep encouraging people to follow their dreams and then I'm too scared to follow mine. Hypocritical, I know.

That's why I'm here today.

You know for sure that my biggest dream is to become a writer. But there is something else I really love to do, although I'm usually too scare to share it. And that's singing. I've had the experience to perform in a musical and it was just meant to be. When I'm on that stage singing it's like I'm where I belong. I don't think it's what I want to do for a living, I don't want it to be a full-time job, but I'd like it to be a bigger part of my life than it is right now.

I actually have a youtube account where I post videos of me singing, although I've only shared one of them with my friends and they don't know there are more. I have loads of videos and audios on my phone, but I never seem to be able to make them public. I've started to take singing lessons this year and I almost fainted on my concert (don't think there was a lot of public, 50 people maximum!)

This blog is my "safe spot", and I tell you guys so much about me I felt like I needed to share this huge part of me with you! It didn't make sense to leave it out of this, it was like me hiding a huge part of who I am... and if I can't share my music with you here I don't think I can do it anywhere!

I think you've realised where this is going... I've recorded an audio of me singing one of my favourite songs ever, Gravity by Sara Bareilles, and it would mean the world to me if you listened to it. The audio is not the best because it was recorded on my phone, and I couldn't hear the background track very well, but still...

So this is me, putting my doubts and fears away and jumping off the cliff. I can't spend my whole life being scared. My dreams will pass me by if I do. And I won't let that happen.

I hope you won't either!

I leave you with the song for now. I hope you enjoy it and I'll see you on Friday!

A big big hug!

PS: I was asked if I had twitter today, and I don't have a "blog twitter", do you think I should create an account?

Top Essence Products & 2000 views!

Hey hey hey! Today I'm reaaaally happy because I REACHED 2000 VIEWS! It's been only a month and a day since I told you I reached 1000 views and I did not in a million times think I would double it in just a month. This blog is a blessing. Thank you so much for trusting me and spending a little bit of your time in my corner of the internet ^^ I'll be forever grateful!

I've been requested before to talk a little about the makeup I use, and I thought I could share it! I started this post as a "Makeup Bag" post, but then I saw how much Essence there was and I decided to make it just Essence. But before starting, let me warn you that I don't use makeup that often and I'm not an expert. I haven't owned a lot of products so I can't really compare quality-wise... So forgive me if I say something that's completely wrong! What I can do, though, is share what I use and maybe you can tell me about what alternatives I can find and if you have used them as well.

Also, my makeup is bought exclusively in a place in my village, and the only brands that they have are Maybelline, Essence, Basic Cosmetics and Rimmel. I've been asked that too, so there you go! That's why I'm jealous when I see all of the cheap and awesome brands you use hahaha Now that I've told you that, let's move on to the Essence products I like the most!

 EYES

All About Bronze Eyeshadow Palette
They're quite new, but I've put them on on a couple of concerts and they work pretty well! They're not as pigmented as I would've liked them to be, but they're quite shiny and long-lasting. I think they cost me about €5, so it was definitely a good deal!

These are from left to right, first row and then second row

Multi Use Eyeshadow Brush
This is honestly perfect for me because I have everything I need in one brush: you can see in the picture there is an angled brush, a sponge and a crease brush! It doesn't have the best quality but it works the way it needs to. I don't think you should buy it if you use makeup often, but for a few occasions it's the perfect one.

All Eyes On Me Mascara
I put this mascara on my March Favourites and I stand by it. It gives that little extra and I've been putting it on everyday recently; no other makeup, just mascara. It lasts all day long and it doesn't make my lashes look too big, it just accentuates them. I really like it!

I <3 ROCK Gloss Eye Pencil
I actually rescued this one a month ago from old makeup, I think I hadn't worn it for over a year! I don't use it a lot but it's my favourite one from Essence. It tends to fade a little bit, but apart from that, it's a good eye pencil! (I don't even think they make it anymore, but whatever hahaha)

LongLasting Eye Pencil in the shade 09 Cool Down
Okay, this eye pencil is really good, but it has a problem: I'm not crazy about the shade! I messed up when I bought it hahaha But the eye pencil itself is long-lasting and precise. I'm definitely gonna but a black one if I can find it! It's kind of bittersweet, because it's good but I don't wear it because of the shade. If blue eye pencil looks good on you I totally recommend it!

LIPS

XXXL Nude Lipgloss in the shade 03 Taste The Sweets
This one was actually on my Lip Product Tag! It's my favourite lipgloss I've ever owned: it has a beautiful pink tone and it's not sticky at all. It doesn't dry your lips, which is not easy to find in drugstore lipglosses! I still have to try their matte lipglosses, which I got recommended, I'll let you know if I like them as much as this one! ^^

Lipstick in the shade 13 Love Me
I didn't like it in the beginning to be honest, but I've put it on again after some months and I'm finding myself liking it! I find it looks a lot better if you apply it over a lip balm (maybe that's obvious but I didn't know it, okay? hahaha), this one especially. It's just a simple pale nude pink, and I think it only goes along well with a certain skin tone (maybe that's why I didn't like it in the beginning, I'm paler now haha).

Lipgloss + I Feel Pretty + Love Me

Lipstick in the shade 09 I Feel Pretty
I also put this one on my Lip Product Tag and it's my favourite! I think it gives life to your whole look. It's the one I wear the most on concerts (if you haven't realised, that's when I wear makeup hahaha). I have a problem with lipsticks: I feel really weird when I wear them full-colour, to put it in some way. These two let me apply them just slightly and they look really good like that. They are pigmented enough to be noticed but not too much, and that's something I love about them.

NAILS

Hello Autumn's Nailpolish in the shade 02 Meet My Pumpkin
This is quite misplaced because it's Spring and it's an Autumn shade hahaha But you know I had to include nail products in this! This is an AWESOME nail polish because it's thermo changing. It goes from a very pretty orange shade when it's hot to a brown shade when it's cold and you can't tell me that's not the greatest thing you've ever seen hahaha Essence released this range last Autumn and I fell in love with it. It's not really long-lasting but it can't have everything!

And that's it! Have you really gotten here? I might have gone off the rails a little bit, there are a lot of products hahaha I hope you didn't get bored! Let me know if you have any Essence products or just drugstore products in general that you recommend. Thanks for reading and I'll see you on Monday!

A big big hug,

My Favourite Youtubers!

Good afternoon! (Or morning, or night... wherever you are in the world!) I hope you're all having an amazing day!

I'm a really big fan of youtube, so I've been wanting to do a "favourite youtubers" post for a while, and today is Monday, so... it was meant to be!

Before starting, though, I want to apologise to you all because this weekend has been HECTIC and I have to comment on a lot of people's posts. I swear I will! I have a big exam tomorrow and I need to study, but I will get to it when I'm done with this. You know I always comment, even if some times it's not on the same day, but I always end up doing it! I'll be there soon!

On to the post!

1- Carrie Hope Fletcher (ItsWayPastMyBedTime)
If you've been around for a while, you'll know she is my favourite youtuber. I remember the first time I heard about her vividly: I was starting to get into the youtuber world and a friend of mine said to me "Well, if you like youtubers, you must LOVE Carrie Hope Fletcher!" and I was like "Carrie who?" and she was SO surprised! "You love reading, you love musicals, you love tea, you love Disney... and she plays freaking Éponine who is like your favourite character ever on the West End!" Needless to say, I checked her out as soon as I got home and I've been obsessed with her ever since. She is such a positive person who spreads light and hope and I love her for that. She is a writer, a blogger, a youtuber, a phenomenal actress and singer and the nicest person ever! I got to meet her last November and she was so gracious and sweet to me when I was a complete mess. I also have to say she completely kills it onstage. I expected greatness and she was even loads better than I expected. She is such a big inspiration for me! Check out her song "Boys in Books Are Better", all of you bookworms, and you will go back to her!

2- Dan Howell (danisnotonfire)
It's hard for me to separate Dan and Phil, but they do have different channels, so I felt it would be appropiate! I love Dan to bits. I just find him really funny and endearing! He's a complete chaos and he's always having an existential crisis. I love his sense of humour and I might have a small crush on him hahaha He's never afraid to laugh at himself and he is really weird and nerdy and I love him for embracing it! I think his videos are the ones I watch the most on repeat!

3- Phil Lester (AmazingPhil)
He is Dan's best friend and they live together, so they do a lot of collaborations, which makes me a happy camper! He is very endearing as well, weird things keep happening to him and he is a complete disaster, but we love him with all our heart! He is one of the most huggable people on the internet and can be really innocent as well. He is quite nerdy too, and when he joins Dan for a video it's just a joy to watch. They are so funny and relatable in many ways! I love them!

4- Zoë Sugg (Zoella)
I'm sure you all know and love Zoella, so I won't ramble a lot about her! Like many people, I took the final decision of writing a blog after reading Girl Online. She was one of the first youtubers I followed, and her videos about panic and anxiety attacks were really helpful. She really does a bit of everything: collabs, challenges, beauty, favourites... You can see she puts a lot of effort into everything she does! Fun fact: I always watch her videos right before I have an oral English exam so I'll mimic her accent hahaha I've gotten good marks so far, so it seems to work!

5- The Fine Brothers
Theirs was the first youtube channel I followed and they brought me to everything else. I absolutely adore their React series. If you don't know them (which if you don't, shame on you) they bring groups of people to react to mostly videos, but also other things: technology, food, videogames, fashion... lots of things! Kids React is especially endearing to me but I love them all. After they posted "Teens React to Tyler Oakley" I decided to check him out and I haven't left the youtuber world since that day! Tyler brought me to Zoë, and then they brought me to everything else. They were the beginning of this (slightly insane) obsession I have with youtube!

So that's it! I will upgrade this post with pictures of the youtubers I mentioned, but I really shouldn't be writing this, I should be studying without stopping! I'll be back tomorrow to comment on all of your posts ^^ Until then...

A big big hug!

Maybelline SuperStay 7 Days Gel Nail Color Review | 230 Berry Stain

Hi there, guys! How are you today? I hope you're having an amazing day and you'll enjoy this post! Let's go!

I have never done a product review, so I thought I could give it a try. I recently found a blog post (though I've lost the link, I'm sorry >.<) that featured a summary of all the Nail Polishes in the Maybelline SuperStay 7 Days range, and let me say I instantly fell in love with all of them! I especially liked the Berry Stain shade, so I broke my hiatus (it had been 6 months since I bought my last nail polish! I kept buying more and I needed to calm down hahaha) and bought it!

The top picture was taken some hours after having applied it, and you can see the shade is completely gorgeous. I don't think I've EVER gotten so many compliments on a nail polish shade, I got a lot for this one! I also like that it is wearable during every season, even though I think it would look its best in Autumn (I live in a zone full of vineyards and it would suit the season so much!). It's quite glossy, even more if you apply a top coat, but the colour is opaque and very pigmented: you only need two layers and it's done! It dries really quickly too, which is something I really like because I don't seem to manage being still until they get dry. It's not bubbly, the brush is quite thick so you don't have any problems when applying it, it dries evenly, no streaks...

It's not hard to see I loved it A LOT! It's more expensive than the ColorShow range (€5.99 against €1.99), but I think I'm gonna be checking out more of them, even though I'll stick with ColorShow most of the time because the price in relation to the quality is a bargain. I've already eyed new shades from both the ranges and I can't wait to try them out. Bring them on!

Finally, the last question comes: do they really last seven days? Well, you can see on the picture below that they do. I've been wearing it for 8 days now and, although it has begun to fade at the top of some nails (don't mind the thumb one, I didn't do my best job at applying it so it's competely my fault), they still look amazing. If I wanted them perfectly perfect I would change it by now, but I'm not really picky with that and I reckon they will last some more days, maybe even a week! I think next time I use this shade I won't apply a top coat to see if I can notice any changes.

All in all, I totally recommend buying it. The shades are gorgeous and the quality really good. I bet you won't be disappointed!

Have you tried any nail polish shade from this range? Which one would you recommend? Thanks for reading and see you on Monday!

A big big hug,

QOTW #7: Being alive

I've put quotes from my favourite books and musicals, but a thing I haven't talked about a lot is my favourite TV series - and believe me, I'm almost as obsessed with it as I am with LesMis. It has to be Doctor Who. I love the amazing job it does with praising humanity, the small brilliant things about the human condition. I love how it brings hope, joy and pain equally. I love how it underlines the importance of small abilities that one may have, and how they can save the world. You get REALLY invested emotionally with it and it has helped me through so much.

And this is my favourite quote from the whole series. It's actually not the first one I've written, because I managed to fit one into my last post, "We're all stories in the end. Just make it a good one!", remember? Doctor Who just manages to speak to my soul!

This quote is SO important to me and I live my life by it (I did even before having heard it!). I've told you before how I think feeling everything deeply is a huge part of my personality, and it explains a lot about me. When I'm happy, I'm really happy, and when I'm sad, I'm really sad. I don't stay in between. And everything gets me all the time; maybe that's why when I like something I'm quickly obsessed with it!

I used to see this as a curse, because I kept wondering why I seemed to be sadder than most people I knew. But then I realised there was a beauty in it. I was sadder; but I was also happier. I was living EVERYTHING as much as it could be lived. I was giving life my all. And that meant I was so alive. When this quote came to me, it was like heaven-sent. If feeling everything deeply is being alive, boy do I agree that this is the best thing there is! And letting it get to you is exactly that. You feel pain because it matters. And allowing yourself to be vulnerable enough for something to matter this much is taking a risk, but in the end, I also find this a huge part of life.

You can't live your life halfways. You only get one chance. And you have to give it your all. At least, that's how I see it. And at least, that's what I'm going to do.

A big big hug!

Stories

Hi there guys! I feel like I haven’t written a post about my thoughts in ages, and I really felt like it today.

You all know I love stories. From books, to movies, to TV series, to musicals… I love to get invested with the characters, to see their evolution, to see what happens to them. I love a good story more than anything.

I’ve wanted to be a writer for God knows how long. I wrote my first story when I was three; I’ve lost it now, but I remember it being an adventure for the main characters on one of my favourite cartoons back then (so I was already writing fanfiction, I’ve never thought of it like that!). I have these amazing ideas for novels that I plan… and then I get bored with them. I just plain abandon them and move on to the next one.

I love writing, but the thing I like the most is the creation process. You get the characters, you give them personalities, relationships, struggles, good memories, bad memories… you give them a story, in the end. And then you mix all those stories and create that complicated network, and you can see it in your head, and new ideas come to your mind as if they were always meant to be, and you just see where everything’s going. And it’s amazing.

But not everything is wonderful, and you all know that the good things always come with the bad things. I just make a story out of everything. I meet or just see someone and I imagine this story in my head, I imagine myself becoming friends with them, us having adventures… and okay, I know this isn’t that bad, but the problem comes when I don’t see someone in a long time and I create this picture in my head of how they are. And then I see them again and I realise they’re not at all what I thought them to be. That’s because I made up a character, forgetting the person. Of course, this is not the worst thing in the world, but it can be problematic and I try to stop doing it. I guess that’s the curse of all the people who love stories. We make a story out of everything!

This love for writing and stories brought me here. I feel like I’ve changed SO much in the two months I’ve been writing this blog! I’ve made some amazing friends, my English has gotten so much better (hey, some English natives told me they thought I was a native too and it made me really happy!), I’ve been able to express a lot… This is my 20th post, and I have now over 1600 views, which is insane. And sometimes I still wonder what makes a post better or worse, why some of them have more views than the others. For example, Easy and Happy, which you can see is my second most read post [update: third now, but still], only has 4 comments! And it still has a lot of views. Sometimes I feel like clicking on my favourite posts so they will have more views and will climb on the list (like Little Me, it’s fadiiiing!), but I never do, because in the end, you’re the ones who decide :) I don’t know, do you ever think about it too? I want to take this opportunity to thank you SO MUCH because my last post had 29 COMMENTS and a lot of views! I went bonkers when I saw all those comments popping up hahaha Thank you so so much!

But we’re getting off the rails, so back to the stories. I guess what happens when I make up stories and situations is just my imagination working. I guess I love stories so much I try to become one.

And as someone very wise once said… (props to you if you get the reference!) “We are all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one!”

If my life has been a story, it surely has had its ups and downs, but it’s been a hell of an amazing story :) And if you feel like yours hasn’t been good all the time, just keep swimming. I swear there is a bright future waiting for you!

A big big hug!
